Sounding Rocket
The sounding rocket must reach an altitude of over 2000ft, take horizon photos on ascent, and send live telemetry data back to a ground station during the entire flight.

The altitude rocket must go to an altitude of exactly 1312ft on an F motor.  The video above is of the altimeter compartment of the altitude rocket after a great launch.  The launch was to a height of 1311.  Count the beeps!
Rover Rocket - 2019
The Rover Rocket team is comprised of students from both Spring Grove Area High School and Dover Area High School.  The Spring Grove team is responsible for the construction and flight of the rocket while the Dover team is responsible for the design and construction of the rover.  The Rover Rocket must fly to a height over 1000ft and deploy a rover that will land on the ground and drive around placing markers at specific locations.  The Rover Rocket is the largest rocket Spring Grove has ever built with a diameter of 11.4" and a length of just over 12'.  The weight of the loaded rocket will be close to 50lbs.
