First TARC 2018 rocket launched!

Parts have been designed and printed, teams formed, rockets designed and the first one was built. Yesterday we had the first TARC 2018 launch of the year. So it begins, the TARC 2018 season. Building, lunching, modifying, qualifying, and all hopefully culminating in Manassas, VA in May of 2018!

Paint Night to be held November 14

The NASA SLI team will be holding its semi-annual Paint Night on November 14 in the high school cafeteria starting at 6pm. For only $40, you receive all of the materials and instruction to create a work of art. This will be the fourth event and people have really liked the past events, coming back time and again. Reservations can be made by cash, check or Paypal. We will be selecting a winter/Christmas themed painting soon. Please share with friends and family as we can accomodate 100 guests.

Printing TARC 2018 transitions

The transitions for TARC 2018 have been designed and are now being printed. At only 24g, they work beautifully. They are available for purchase by any TARC team who may not have means to print their own and special colors can be ordered. Please click on the blue button to the right to find ordering information on transitions and nose cones. All proceeds benefit our TARC teams. Thanks.

Cotton Candy sales a huge success!

The SLI team in selling cotton candy at all home football games for only $2 a bag. The first two games have been a huge success and we want to thank all who have purchased candy or stopped by our tent to make a donation. We reall appreciate the support. We will again be selling cotton candy this Friday night, October 6, with cherry being the special flavor. We will also be sure to make plenty of blue raspberry since that has been so popular the first two nights.
